Farah is an advocate of the High Courts of Pakistan with rights of audience before all the High Courts, District Courts, Special Courts, regulatory bodies, and administrative tribunals.

Farah is a highly respected criminal, constitutional, medical negligence, and malpractice lawyer. Her practice further includes; assessment of risk management for corporations, offenses in respect of Banks, white-collar crimes, corruption, anti-money laundering, anti-terrorism, cyber-crime, immigration laws, deportation, and expatriation laws, defamation, anti-narcotics, drug laws, and various others.

She has gained valuable experience as a criminal trial attorney while being inducted as Special Prosecutor for National Accountability Bureau. Furthermore, she has represented various parties successfully and has appeared in cases against the Federal Investigation Agency, Anti-Corruption and Enquiries Establishment, Customs, and other special law enforcement agencies.

Farah also specializes in death penalty cases; she is regularly appointed by various benches of the High Court as Counsel for the pauper accused. Her prime focus has been representing those who are facing wrongful convictions and convicts on death row. She has appeared for the Justice Project of Pakistan in matters pertaining to juveniles sentenced to death.

She also works as a consultant for companies and other corporations for handling internal departmental inquiries against the employees pertaining to fraud, misappropriation, and money laundering.

Farah is associated with international Organizations like ICRC and has been working on legislative reforms in Province of Sindh. She has also been involved with GIZ in the drafting of training manuals for investigation officers for handling forensic evidence. She has also conducted various training sessions in collaboration with GIZ and the Sindh Police for the benefit of police officials on the process of investigation, crime scene examination, and handling of forensic evidence.
